Apron and Superhero Cape

The kiddos loved their homemade Valentines so much that I decided to make something for them for Easter. I was really bummed that I didn't do the February "Create With Me" craft. I decided to do that but in a smaller version for MnM. I did the front piece a little big because I wanted it to cover her clothes really well. It's not totally finished I still have a pocket to put on the front.

 For little SMac I remembered seeing a super cute idea over at I Am Momma Hear Me Roar. I used the same tutorial she did for all of it but the neck part. I found a tutorial online that had an easier one. I was going to do his reversible but, due to me being a procrastinator, he ended up with a one sided cape. I have all the supplies though for a Superman so I'm sure he'll end up with one eventually. Oh and I must say that Old Mac was super proud of my free handing Batman symbol skills.

I got all the fabric at Wally World and spent a total of $9. Both kiddos loved their little things. MnM was super excited that she no longer has to use one of Mommy's old shirts as cover up. Little SMac doesn't need to use a blanket as a cape anymore either. I was super happy with how cute both of them turned out!
