My Spooky Tree

I first want to start this post by saying how awesome I think all my followers are!! I haven't been good at posting lately. I haven't done a crafty post in over three months. During all this I have only lost 3 followers. I just want to say thank you to you ladies. It means a lot to know you have stuck by this little blog!!

I am back with a cheap Halloween decor idea. As some of you know I have a silly tree that I keep on my ledge above our stairs. I like to switch it out for the different holidays. Check out past posts here, here, and here. Besides spiderwebs I didn't have anything to decorate the little tree. I decided to head to the Dollar Store to see what I could find. I picked up a package that had a bunch of little creatures. I also got one of the popular Dollar Store crows.

I took the package of little creatures and hot glued a ribbon to the backs of them. When that was finished I added the spiderwebs to the tree. I let the kiddos go to town on hanging the creatures. Between the two of them they did a great job! After the creatures were hung I thought it needed a little somethin' somethin'. I went to my craft stash and added some black pipe cleaners. Last but not least was adding the little crow to the top of our spooky tree.

I really love how this turned out! My favorite thing is that I only spent $2! Now time to crack the whip on the kiddos Halloween costumes!! I can't wait to show you what they are being this year!!
